Getting started#
Is Nepal Share free?
Yes. The live market, portfolios, alerts, IPO results, news, calculators and notes are free. The free plan shows ads and has limits: five portfolios, five alerts, and the live state refreshes every five seconds. Premium removes ads and raises the limits.
Which phones does it run on?
iPhone and iPad on iOS 15 or later, and Android phones and tablets. Get it from the App Store or Google Play.
Do I need an account?
You can watch the market without one. Portfolios, alerts, saved BOIDs and notes need an account so they can follow you to another phone. Sign in with Google, Apple, Facebook or email.
Premium#
Does Premium renew automatically?
No. Premium is a one-time pass for 3, 6 or 12 months. When it ends, the app goes back to the free plan and you keep your data. We never charge you again unless you buy another pass.
What does Premium include?
Every live update about once a second, unlimited portfolios and alerts, the AI market summary in English and Nepali, broker analysis, scrip analysis and market summary, portfolio growth and performance charts, the NEPSE Live Activity on the iPhone lock screen, and no ads.
How can I pay?
In Nepal, with eSewa or Khalti. From abroad, by card through Stripe, or with Apple In-App Purchase on iPhone. Prices are shown in the app and depend on where you buy.
Can I get a refund?
Purchases made through Apple are refunded by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. For eSewa, Khalti and card payments, email refund@nepal-share.com within 7 days of purchase with your transaction ID and we will refund the full amount. See the Terms of Use.
Data#
Is the data real time?
While NEPSE is open, our servers receive updates about once a second and push them to the app. Premium gets every update; the free plan shows the latest state every five seconds. Data comes from NEPSE and can be delayed or wrong, so confirm prices with your broker before trading.
Where does the data come from?
NEPSE (nepalstock.com.np) for index and prices, CDSC for MeroShare and IPO results, Nepal Rastra Bank for exchange rates, FENEGOSIDA for gold and silver, and public news sites for news and announcements.
Is Nepal Share investment advice?
No. It shows data and your own holdings. Alerts, analyses and the AI summary are information only. Brainants is not a SEBON-licensed adviser or broker.
MeroShare and portfolio#
How does the MeroShare import work?
The app opens MeroShare's own website inside a browser view. You sign in there. The app reads only the transaction list that MeroShare returns and adds it to your portfolio. Your MeroShare username, password and PIN never reach Nepal Share.
Are bonus shares, right shares and dividends handled?
Yes. Add them as transactions, or import them from MeroShare, and the portfolio adjusts cost, units and profit. Buy, sell, bonus and right calculators use the current NEPSE fee rules.
Can I check IPO results for my family?
Yes. Save each BOID with a name and the app checks all of them in one tap.
Privacy#
What do you do with my portfolio?
It is stored for your account so it syncs across your devices, and used only to compute your own numbers. It is not sold, not used for advertising, and not shared unless you authorize a connection yourself (for example to MeroSamriddhi). Details are in the Privacy Policy.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Profile, then Delete account. Or email support@nepal-share.com. See Delete your account.
